Sky High Footage takes your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy has been prepared in line with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which promotes fairness and transparency for all individuals in respect of their personal data. This privacy policy applies to all data we process and by using Sky HIgh Footage you consent to our collection and use of such data. SECTION 2 – WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

As a data controller we collect a variety of data in order to deliver our services and we will manage your personal data transparently, fairly and securely.

We may ask you to provide us the following data:

First and last names, contact numbers, email and postal addresses.

Being a photographic and film business we also create and manage images as per our contractual agreement(s).

We use the above data to deliver our service to you.

We collect this data on the following lawful basis to arrange or fulfil a Contract.

SECTION 2.1 CONTACT FORMS

We keep contact form submissions for the purposes of replying to your query only. We will not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

SECTION 2.2 ANALYTICS

We collect data using Google Analytics. This data is held for 26 months. This data helps us create a better experience for our users.

SECTION 3 – USE OF COOKIES

When you visit our website we may also collect Cookies. These are small pieces of data that websites send to a user’s computer and are stored on the user’s web browser. They are designed to enable the website to remember information and store information about your session. This helps us monitor website traffic.

Hummingbird

Hummingbird uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Files and images served by the CDN may be stored and served from countries other than your own. Stackpath’s privacy policy can be found here.

Any sub-contractors or freelancers we work with for ground photography and editing required to fulfil your order will not have access to personal information.

Data is transferred outside of the European Economic Area to United States under the protection of EU/US Privacy Shield.

There are also certain situations in which we may disclose your personal data without your explicit consent; for example, if required by law, to protect the life of an individual, or to comply with any valid legal process, government request, rule or regulation, breach of our Terms and Conditions.

SECTION 5 – WHY DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THE ABOVE? 

We share your data in order to deliver our service to you / for marketing purposes.

We may transfer personal data to a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) if necessary e.g. if a third party we utilise could have servers located outside of the EEA. If this is the case, we will either obtain your consent or otherwise ensure that the transfer is legal and your data is secure by following the EU’s guidelines. You can see above where we send data outside of the EEA and on what basis we do so.

SECTION 6 – HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA 

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Our security measures include two factor authentication.

In the unlikely event of a criminal breach of our security we will inform the relevant regulatory body within 72 hours and, if your personal data were involved in the breach, we will also inform you.

SECTION 8 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

You have the following rights:

  • the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data
  • the right of access to your personal data and any supplementary information
  • the right to have any errors in your personal data rectified
  • the right to have your personal data erased
  • the right to block or suppressing the processing of your personal data

We also give you the option to manage your data via email or post.

While we do not hold personal data any longer than we need to. The duration will depend on your relationship with us, and whether it is ongoing. We may keep some of your personal data for upto 7 years.
